There is a city called New York city, a modern place and noisy too. There is always traffic. There aren't bridges but it has the biggest parks. There are cars all the time, but it is a sunny place. There is the best weather of all the United States. People are friendly and kind.
In New York there is a beautiful girl called Emily. She is 12 years old, she is a beautiful girl but she is too full of herself. She always wears modern clothes and she is the most popular girl at school. She likes going shopping and she doesn't like it when her brother Mike fights with her. Her hair is blond and her eyes are green. Her mother and father love her and they are a happy family. Every day, she gets up early and goes to school on foot and after school she gets home, has a bath and sleeps. At her school, they never have tests or they don't have to study. One day she got up and it was late for school. Her parents were waiting for her.
“We are moving, sweety.” her parents said. “Why? Where?” Emily asked sadly. “Because the bank took our house, we are moving to the farm. I lived there when I was small.” dad said. “A farm? I don't like farms, they aren't noisy and you can't walk because there is a lot of grass and mud!” Emily shouted. “I don't mind if we are moving, I am not like you.” Mike said. They started fighting but mum stopped them. A few hours later, they went to school to say goodbye to their friends. Then they took the car and started driving. They finished the trip and Mike was very happy but Emily wasn't.
A few days later, Emily loved the farm. She forgot about the city and she started thinking about others not just her. She didn't care about shopping or to have the majority of clothes only to be happy and smile, because she learnt that happy girls are the prettiest.
