4th and 5th Form concerts: “The Little Mermaid”
This is the story of a little mermaid called Ariel. She is the youngest daughter of King Triton and she feels dissatisfied with life in the sea because she longs to be with the humans above the surface. She has six sisters and her best friend Flounder, who soon discovers Ariel’s love for a human prince, Eric. Ariel is so desperate that she goes to meet Ursula, the sea witch, and makes a deal with her: she will become a human for three days and must make Prince Eric fall in love with her. Will she be able to do so? She cannot talk and cannot tell him why. Will they have a happy-ending or will she belong to Ursula forever?…
